BUILDERS NETWORK

In 2005 Danahers identified the issue that most builders didn’t have any support network. Most builders worked by themselves didn’t have anyone to share the burden of their problems with and didn’t have anyone to celebrate their successes with. In April we ran our first meeting. It was a great success.

We have about 25 members of Builders network and meet on the last Thursday at Danahers @ 4.30pm. The meeting is preceded by a BBQ and a beer and a chat with each other.

The meetings often have guest speakers from the industry or professionals, sometimes have speakers about products, and sometimes just have a chat about “what they’ve got going on”.

Meetings attract 2 CPD points.

Other advantages of Builders network: sometimes builders will subby to each other, often they will share subby’s, sometimes they will share jobs. Most builders who attend meetings would say that their businesses run better since they have been in the group.
